HANDSOME men make the best semen and attractive women have the most pleasant voices. Carles Soler’s team at the University of Valencia in Spain asked women to rank the facial allure of men whose semen quality had earlier been measured according to medical criteria. They found that men with the most attractive faces also make the highest quality semen (Evolution and Human Behavior, vol 24, p 199).
