Physicist Ragbir Bhathal roamed Australia with his tape recorder asking the
country’s top astronomers about their lives and work for Australian Astronomers
(National Library of Australia, A$24.95, ISBN 0 642 10666 5). Every
expert on the list is male. Bok, Giovanelli, Hanbury Brown, Mills, Ekers and
many others are there, but the famous meteor astronomers have been overlooked
for some reason.
