The University of Toronto Press has published a second edition of Glimpsing
Reality edited by Paul Buckley and F. David Peat (£14.50/$19.95,
ISBN 0 8020 6994 0). It is a collection of conversations with top physicists,
biologists and chemists about the leading edge of scientific discovery and where
it may take us in understanding the Universe and ourselves. Brought up to date
and allegedly nontechnical, it needs wrestling with as well as reading.
