New Scientist readers will recall that book about bottoms, burps, blisters
and bruises, the one with the plastic vomit on the cover. Demand for Grossology:
The Science of Really Gross Things! has understandably been outstripping supply,
but there is no immediate cause for panic. American firm Planet Dexter is
stepping up production and British readers will be reassured to learn that the
book will be available from Edward Goolnik (Tel: 0181 348 4454) in the
autumn.
