Musicians Peter Gabriel and Brian Eno and performance artist Laurie
Anderson have been given permission to build a virtual reality theme park
on a 15-hectare site in Barcelona. ‘It would be a beautiful and natural
world with a lot of water, where you go underground to go through the experiences,’
says Gabriel. The artists are now seeking funding from technology companies,
with the backing of the mayor of Barcelona. They have three years to raise
the money.
