MORE people in England are set to get a preventive HIV treatment, but it still won鈥檛 be available to all who want it.

PrEP involves taking a drug that reduces the risk of contracting HIV. The National 91色情片 Service in England had argued that it is unable to fund the drug as local councils are responsible for HIV prevention services, but the courts rejected that idea.

NHS England said this week that it will now conduct a three-year trial, involving 10,000 recipients, to find out how best to make the drug available.

鈥淓vidence for the is overwhelming,鈥 said Deborah Gold of the National AIDS Trust, the charity that took NHS England to court. But the trial could answer useful questions. 鈥淭here鈥檚 no doubt that this is a step in the right direction.鈥
