Parents who fear huge phone bills when their children surf the Net or play
online video games can set their minds at rest by paying £40 for a Timed
Internet Connection from Pulse Design of Bognor Regis, West Sussex. TIC plugs in
between the PC or games console and the phone line. It limits the connection
time allowed during each 24-hour period and sets a minumum waiting time between
connections. When time’s up, it disconnects automatically, after sounding a
warning bleep.
