Clubbers can add a cool breeze to the joys of flashing lights, strobes and
psychedelic effects. Inventor Przemyslaw Filipek of Lublin, Poland, has dreamt
up a new party experience (WO 98/59201). Signals from a nightclub鈥檚 sound system
controls the electric motor driving the ceiling fans so that the rotational
speed of the blades varies with the beat of the music. The inventor calls his
system a 鈥渂low phone鈥, as ravers are blown by a rhythm-related wind which keeps
them cool into the bargain.
