Howard Oliver and Patrick Marshall of Colorado (WO 98/41797) say it can be
dangerous—and illegal in some countries—to light a campfire in a
wooded area. The pair have come up with a fake campfire in a bucket. The gas
ring and cylinder are hidden inside. And the ring is covered by imitation logs
which glow hot but which do not burn—bringing the charm of a gas-powered
fake log fire to the great outdoors.
