Microsoft and Panasonic owner Matsushita have agreed to jointly develop
digital products for the home. Last week鈥檚 deal covers digital interactive TVs,
advanced cable decoders and Web TV browsers. Matsushita gets to use Microsoft鈥檚
Windows CE in future portable products. Microsoft chief Bill Gates says the move
will result in 鈥渋ntelligent, integrated and easy-to-use consumer devices鈥.
