Hollywood has taken to science like yuppies took to cellphones. Current
movies with scientific or pseudo-scientific themes include Paramount鈥檚 Deep
Impact and New Line鈥檚 Lost In Space, and they are, Netropolitan is assured by
luvvie friends, 鈥渄oing good box-office鈥�. But no movie stands alone these days.
Each one comes with its own website, something the studios are increasingly
seeing as important promotional tools.
