Research on Escherichia coli O157 will be a priority, says Britain鈥檚 Ministry
of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in its research plan for the next two years.
鈥淲e intend to find out more about how E. coli O157 behaves on farms and identify
the critical control points to help prevent the bug being transmitted from
animals into the food chain,鈥 says food safety minister Jeff Rooker.
