Plomin was one of 52 academics who signed a statement supporting the ideas
expressed by Charles Murray in his book The Bell Curve. Murray claims, among
other things, that intelligence is between 40 and 80 per cent inheritable.

the author, and the accompanying documents cover every nook and cranny of the
debate.
