NOT all of Britain’s great museums lag so far behind their American
counterparts however. The Natural History Museum http://www.nhm.ac.uk/ has two
in-depth Web-only exhibits and VRML files of fossils which can be downloaded and
viewed from any angle, as well as the usual descriptions of the museum and its
work. The Science Museum http://www.nmsi.ac.uk/ has 120 pages on the history of
flight, and allows you to conduct visual experiments on yourself.
